This year, as our nation commemorates the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, we are reminded of the enduring ideals that continue to inspire people from around the world.

As we move through the summer, the immigration landscape continues to evolve. This month brought several important developments, including USCIS's announcement that the FY 2027 H-1B cap has been reached and that no second H-1B lottery will be held this year.

Foster Immigration at The Church Network Conference
We were pleased to have Attorney Janet Forney and Operations Manager Monica Correia represent Foster Immigration at The Church Network Conference, held in West Palm Beach, Florida, from July 14–17, 2026.
This annual conference brought together church leaders from across the country for several days of learning, collaboration, and encouragement. Janet had the honor of speaking on religious worker immigration, sharing recent immigration updates and practical guidance on expanding hiring options for churches and faith-based organizations. Her presentation highlighted current developments in immigration law and provided attendees with valuable strategies for navigating today's immigration landscape.
We are grateful for the opportunity to support faith-based organizations and look forward to continuing to serve churches and religious institutions with their immigration needs.

Celebrating Shaun’s 19-Year Anniversary
This month, we are proud to celebrate a special milestone - July 30 marks the 19th anniversary of Shaun Foster beginning his legal career with the practice that has grown into today's Foster Immigration.
Shaun began his journey with the practice in 2007 as an Associate Attorney, working alongside Alan Pampanin at Pampanin Law Offices, a boutique immigration law firm dedicated exclusively to U.S. immigration law. In 2020, Shaun and Alan became business partners, forming PampaninFoster, LLC, building on a shared commitment to providing exceptional legal services to individuals, families, employers, and religious organizations.
As the firm continued to grow, it relocated to Woburn, Massachusetts, in 2023, and following Alan Pampanin's retirement from the practice of law in 2024, Shaun became the firm's Principal Attorney, continuing the firm's tradition of dedicated, client-focused immigration representation.
We are grateful for Shaun's leadership, dedication, and nearly two decades of service. Congratulations on this remarkable milestone, Shaun—we look forward to many more years of helping clients achieve their immigration goals together!
