Celebrating another Green Card success!
Nothing makes us happier than closing out another fiscal year of immigration work by celebrating more Green Card approvals and helping our clients become new U.S. Permanent Residents!
This past week, our Principal Attorney, Shaun Foster, was at USCIS Boston for another Green Card case, this time supporting a client in the quantitative finance field who has worked with Foster Immigration for more than eight years.
It is especially rewarding to support our clients through the many stages of their immigration journeys and to celebrate these important milestones together.

October Visa Bulletin & Employment-Based Green Cards
As we approach the start of Fiscal Year 2027 on October 1, employment-based Green Card applicants should be watching the Visa Bulletin closely. The beginning of a new fiscal year resets annual immigrant visa number allocations, which can create new visa availability for employment-based applicants who have been waiting for a visa number.
Visa availability remains subject to demand, annual numerical limits, and per-country limits, so priority dates may advance, remain unchanged, or retrogress as the fiscal year progresses.
Foster Immigration will continue monitoring Visa Bulletin developments and helping clients understand how changes in visa availability may affect their Green Card process.
International Travel & Visa Stamping
With the holiday travel season approaching, foreign nationals planning international trips should take time to review their immigration and travel documents before finalizing their plans.
Travelers should confirm that their passport is valid, determine whether they will need a new visa stamp to return to the United States, and make sure they have the appropriate approval notices and supporting documentation for reentry. Those who require visa stamping abroad should also review appointment availability at the appropriate U.S. Embassy or Consulate, as wait times can vary by location and additional processing may sometimes be required.
